Hung Yen: More than 10,000 managers and teachers trained in using artificial intelligence

On September 13, in person and online at 460 locations, the Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen province organized a training course on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for all managers and teachers of primary education institutions in the area.

Ms. Ha Thi Thu Phuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen province, said: This is one of the key activities of the Hung Yen education sector to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on orientations for science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

AI is proving to play an important role in many aspects of education , from designing, organizing teaching activities, testing and assessment to reducing administrative work, creating conditions for teachers to focus more on students.

Dr. Nguyen Viet Huy, Deputy Head of the General Education Department, said: We focus on communicating the policies and guidelines of the Party and the State; and instructions from all levels and sectors on the application of information technology, digital transformation, and AI application in management, teaching, testing, and evaluation.

In addition, instructions on using some AI applications in management, teaching and assessment suitable for primary school level. Specifically, skills in writing "Prompt" (commands to communicate with AI); some AI applications in creating digital learning materials (how to use ChatGPT, Gemini, convert text, images into videos, make videos to illustrate songs...).

Next, the Department of Education and Training of Hung Yen province continues to organize training for managers and teachers at the local secondary and high schools. The overall goal is to disseminate basic knowledge about AI to all staff and teachers in the entire sector in the most understandable and practical way; applicable immediately in teaching and learning at school, contributing to improving the quality of education.
