Tanh Linh - a mountainous district located in the South of Binh Thuan province with many ethnic groups living there such as: Kinh, Nung, Gia rai, Ba na, Tay, Thai, Hoa, Khmer, Muong, Dao, Cham, Rac lay... In recent times, the appearance of the locality has gradually improved, clearly seen through a long journey of efforts to overcome difficulties to achieve many important and relatively comprehensive achievements. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the re-establishment of the district in conjunction with the response to the National Tourism Year 2023 event hosted by Binh Thuan province for the first time, Tanh Linh has focused on organizing many "highlight" activities to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the district.
First of all, the Youth Cross Country Race was held in March 2023 at the District Culture - Sports and Broadcasting Center. This sports tournament had the participation of more than 150 male and female athletes, not only cheered by everyone directly but also attracted thousands of views when broadcast live on the Fanpage "Culture - Sports and Broadcasting Center". Next was the Second Student Flower Melody Art Performance - 2023 with 13 delegations from agencies and units in the district registering to participate in 44 performances and also attracting a large number of viewers live or on the livestream system. At the end of April, Tanh Linh also successfully organized the Art Program in response to the National Tourism Year 2023 and the 40th anniversary of the district's re-establishment (May 1, 1983 - May 1, 2023) with many unique singing, dancing, and music performances...
In addition to the registered activities, the District People's Committee also coordinated with Green Dragon Construction Investment Joint Stock Company to organize the Cultural Exchange Festival of Ethnic Minorities in Tanh Linh District in 2023 at Thac Ba Eco-tourism Area. This activity attracted the participation of 7 communes and towns with ethnic minorities. Here, more than 150 actors performed 20 acts imbued with the local ethnic cultural identity. Or, in coordination with Thac Ba Eco-tourism Area, participating in the Exhibition Space, introducing tourism products within the framework of the Street Culture Week of the National Tourism Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence", contributing to promoting local tourism.
In this meaningful year, Tanh Linh also focuses on implementing urban beautification, preserving and protecting the environment, green, clean and beautiful landscape. Accordingly, it promotes flower decoration, LED lights, tree planting, repairing welcome gates, decorating billboards and posters to welcome the National Tourism Year 2023 on many roads and areas in the district. On the other hand, it also launches a campaign to clean up and collect waste to ensure a clean and beautiful environment in residential areas, offices, cemeteries and martyrs' memorials...
According to the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district, the activities to respond to the National Tourism Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence" in the locality have been completed and exceeded the set plan. With the attention paid to socialization and active mobilization of resources from individuals and businesses, it has contributed to the success in organizing activities to respond to the National Tourism Year 2023 in the district... It is known that through many cultural, artistic and sports activities as well as strengthening the propaganda and promotion of tourism potential, since the beginning of the year, the mountainous district of Tanh Linh has attracted more than 59,500 visitors.
