Mobilizing more than 125 billion VND to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses

According to the report from the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the province, up to now, the total mobilized budget has reached over 125 billion VND. Of which, the 5% savings from regular expenditure contributed over 68 billion VND, the local self-mobilized budget was over 32.2 billion VND, and the contribution of households participating in the program reached nearly 18 billion VND. In addition, credit institutions and related units also participated in supporting loans for poor and near-poor households with a total budget of over 7.3 billion VND.

The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households is a large program with profound humanitarian significance.

In addition to financial resources, the program also received positive response from the community through the contribution of over 11,000 working days, along with many essential construction materials, such as: 190 tons of cement, 3,000 roof tiles and other in-kind support.

Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households contributes to ensuring social security in the area.

Mobilizing diverse resources not only demonstrates the high determination of local Party committees, authorities and people, but also contributes significantly to improving housing conditions and the quality of life for disadvantaged households, towards the goal of sustainable poverty reduction and ensuring social security in the province.
