The first district in Hanoi approves its 2025 land use plan.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The Hanoi People's Committee has just announced Decision 6779/2024 approving the land use plan for Me Linh district in 2025.

On December 31, 2024, the Hanoi People's Committee announced the decision approving the 2025 land use plan for Me Linh district. Me Linh is the first district in Hanoi to have its 2025 land use plan approved.

The approved land use plan for Me Linh district in 2025 includes a 1/10,000 scale land use plan map and a comprehensive explanatory report on the district's 2025 land use plan. This land use plan was signed and confirmed by the Director of the Hanoi Department of Natural Resources and Environment on December 26, 2024.

The list of works and projects included in the 2025 land use plan comprises 104 projects with a total area of ​​1,140.37 hectares.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigns the Me Linh District People's Committee the responsibility to review and assess the feasibility of projects in the 2025 land use plan. If, during the implementation of the plan, new projects with sufficient legal basis for implementation arise, the Me Linh District People's Committee shall compile a report and submit it to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment for submission to the Hanoi People's Committee for approval of the supplementary land use plan, which will serve as the basis for implementation in accordance with regulations.

The Hanoi People's Committee also requested the Me Linh District People's Committee to publicly announce the land use plan in accordance with the land law. The locality needs to carry out land acquisition in accordance with the approved land use plan.

The People's Committee of Me Linh District is tasked with organizing inspections of the land use plan implementation, promptly detecting and handling cases of violations of the land use plan, and strengthening inspection and supervision of the land use plan implementation process to ensure the feasibility of the 2025 land use plan.

The People's Committee of Me Linh District needs to balance and identify funding sources to implement the land use plan, ensuring its feasibility. The locality is tasked with organizing the implementation of the land use plan strictly, ensuring that the land use targets approved by the Hanoi City People's Committee are met.

In addition, the People's Committee of Me Linh District is tasked with reporting the results of the land use plan implementation before October 15th.

The Hanoi People's Committee has assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to implement land allocation, land leasing, and land use conversion in accordance with the approved land use plan. This agency is also required to inspect the implementation of the land use plan; and regularly update eligible projects and works for submission to the Hanoi People's Committee for approval to supplement the annual land use plan as prescribed.
