On the first day of the PUBG Mobile Finals, the Vietnamese teams had a poor start, failing to secure any first-place finishes in the first six maps and having low kill counts. At the end of the first day, Team Flash (FL) finished 10th with 39 points, Team X (STX) 11th with 37 points, and D'Xavier (DX) 13th with 33 points. Meanwhile, teams from other regions performed better, especially YALL from Malaysia, who achieved three first-place finishes and currently lead the leaderboard with 87 points.
Day 2 of the competition saw the return of DX and FL, who delivered spectacular chicken dinners and made a strong surge in the race for the championship. Their scores were somewhat consolidated, with DX climbing to 5th place with 96 points and FL to 6th with 83 points. However, BOOM, our biggest rival, is currently leading with a 40-point difference.
Entering the decisive day of competition with a relatively large gap, it seems that the psychological burden weighed heavily on the players' hands. Our teams failed to secure another chicken dinner and had to sadly watch BOOM Esports lift the championship trophy.

At the end of the 2024 PMSL SEA Spring tournament, DX finished 6th with 132 points, FL finished 8th with 113 points, and STX finished 15th with 72 points. For the two newly participating teams, FL and STX, this is a decent ranking, as their rosters include many young players participating in a major tournament for the first time. FL, in particular, performed very well from the League stage. In all three weeks, FL participated in Super Sunday and achieved very high rankings, securing a spot in the Finals.

But for DX, this could be considered a step backward in this tournament. For a team with a long history of success, having previously won the Southeast Asian championship, finishing 6th overall is a disappointing result for fans. They have the skills and experience, but the outcome was not as expected.

This tournament showed that the players weren't at their best, and their decisive plays weren't truly outstanding. There were instances of superior team fights and advantageous positions, but they couldn't secure a Top 1 finish. Hopefully, after three weeks of competing abroad, our young players have gained more experience, and our veteran players will have more confidence for future tournaments. Let's look forward to the changes and breakthroughs in PUBG Mobile Esports in Vietnam in 2024, with many exciting tournaments awaiting us.
