In his opening remarks, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nam, former Commander of the Ho Chi Minh City Command and Head of the Traditional Liaison Committee of Cu Chi, the "Land of Steel and Bronze," affirmed: "This program has profound humanitarian significance, contributing to spreading the tradition of 'Land of Steel and Bronze,' fostering the bond between the military and the people, and we hope that units and organizations will continue to cooperate and maintain community health care activities for the people of Cu Chi."

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the medical team provided general health check-ups, health consultations, and free medication to more than 1,100 people.
The organizing committee distributed over 1,100 gift packages (each worth 600,000 VND) to families entitled to preferential policies and disadvantaged households.
The program also includes activities such as haircuts and free breakfast, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.

This activity demonstrates the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," expressing gratitude to the people of the "Land of Steel and Bronze," and simultaneously strengthening the relationship between the unit and the local community.
Earlier, delegates offered incense and flowers at the Ben Duoc Martyrs' Memorial Temple, remembering and paying tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
