The 2024 PUBG MOBILE Super League Southeast Asia Spring (2024 PMSL SEA Spring) is an event in the series of leading professional PUBG Mobile tournaments in Southeast Asia. The tournament takes place over four weeks in Malaysia, with two rounds: the League Round (February 21 - March 10) and the Finals Round (March 15 - March 17).
Teams will have three weeks to compete and earn the highest score in order to qualify for the Finals. The 24 teams will be divided into three groups (A, B, C, D, E, H, D) and will be randomly drawn to compete against each other.
New rules of the game
Increasing the number of teams from 20 to 24 will give Vietnamese players more opportunities to compete. They will meet players from many different countries, thereby learning new experiences and strategies to improve their skills.
Furthermore, the tournament format also gives lower-ranked teams a chance to advance further. For example, STX, despite ranking 11th, and ROY 20th in the first three days of competition, still had a chance on Last Chance (played on Saturdays). And they didn't disappoint, finishing in 2nd place with one "chicken dinner," thus qualifying for Super Sunday. Meanwhile, ROY finished in 14th place; however, their chances remain intact because if they achieve good results and advance to Super Sunday of weeks 2 and 3, their ticket to the Finals is still very promising.
STX overtakes Last Chance to advance to Super Sunday
Entering Super Sunday, it's safe to say this is a competition for highly skilled players, as the 16 teams represent 64 outstanding individuals from Week 1.
Despite this being Team Flash's first time competing in the SEA regional PUBG Mobile tournament, their performance has solidified their position. Leading with 61 points and a Top 1 finish in Super Sunday Week 1, FL currently holds a significant advantage for a spot in the Finals. However, Team FL will need to work hard in the next two weeks to secure this opportunity. Following them are STX with 44 points, temporarily ranking 5th, and DX with 35 points, ranking 7th.
Super Sunday Week 1 Results
The Vietnamese teams had a fairly lucky start, however, our rivals are still very close behind. The remaining two weeks of competition will be incredibly dramatic, where even a small mistake could cost us the chance to reach the Finals.
