Penguin Random House, the world-renowned publisher, is holding a book week in Ho Chi Minh City.

From December 12th to January 4th, Ho Chi Minh City Book Publishing Joint Stock Company (Fahasa), in collaboration with Penguin Random House – the world's largest commercial publisher – is organizing a book week with the theme: 'Read, explore, and grow to find your story,' featuring many exciting events.

On the morning of December 12th at Nguyen Hue Bookstore (Ho Chi Minh City), Fahasa and Penguin Random House inaugurated the book week "Read, Explore , and Grow to Find Your Story ," showcasing over 3,500 titles with a total of 42,000 copies.

The week offers readers a rich collection of books from Penguin Random House in various genres: children's literature, storybooks, skill-building books, discovery and educational books, classic literary works, illustrated art books, etc., all displayed in a lively and organized manner.

The publications will be displayed and distributed at Nguyen Hue Bookstore and other key Fahasa bookstores nationwide, as well as on e-commerce platforms.

During Book Week, on the morning of December 13th, Fahasa will inaugurate its Christmas and New Year 2026 celebration with a Countdown - Lighting Ceremony, featuring the lighting of a Christmas tree over 5 meters tall, decorated with thousands of LED lights, ornaments, and artificial snow. In addition, there will be a Christmas carol performance with a Countdown ceremony and the lighting of the tree with artistic falling snow using light effects; many experiential programs, author meet-and-greets, and autograph sessions, including Doãn Hằng with her work " Coming Home to Eat a Bowl of Onion Porridge ".
