According to Reuters news agency, a notice on Starlink's website on September 15 said the satellite internet service was experiencing an outage.
"Our team is investigating," Starlink's statement said, without providing further details.
Incident tracking site Dowdetector said more than 43,000 users in the US were affected as of 0:35 on September 15 in the eastern US (11:35 the same day Vietnam time).
According to Russia's Russia Today , Ukrainian commanders reported that Starlink had stopped working across the entire front line.
Starlink, operated by billionaire Elon Musk's SpaceX, provides internet service through a constellation of low-orbit satellites. Starlink is used in remote areas as well as war zones around the world.
SpaceX did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
Starlink has become essential infrastructure for Ukraine in its conflict with Russia. Last year, it was estimated that more than 42,000 Starlink devices were installed in Ukraine.
