Opening of the 2024 Cultural Festival of Outstanding Cultural Villages and Neighborhoods

On the evening of August 27, at the Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace (Ha Long City), the Department of Culture and Sports opened the 2024 Cultural Festival of Cultural Houses and Cultural Quarters of Quang Ninh Province. Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, attended the program.

Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and leaders of the Department of Culture - Sports presented flowers and souvenir flags to representatives of the delegations.

Participating in the Festival were 13 art troupes with more than 800 artists and actors selected from typical cultural houses of villages and cultural neighborhoods representing districts, towns and cities in the province. Immediately after the opening ceremony, 3 mass art troupes performed their performances.

The festival is a practical activity to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (1945-2024), encouraging the entire Party, army and people to successfully implement the Party's resolutions, promoting the movement to build cultural villages, cultural neighborhoods and cultural families.

The festival aims to promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle through advanced examples in the new rural construction movement in Quang Ninh; honoring typical village cultural figures in the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life".

According to the plan, the Festival will take place on August 27 and 28. The closing ceremony, performance of excellent performances and awarding of prizes will start at 8:00 p.m. on August 28 at the Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace.
