The exhibition includes more than 150 documents, images and quotes, selected from the archives of the Ha Nam Provincial Historical Archives Center, National Archives Center III, the Provincial Museum and related units.
The exhibition consists of 3 main parts: Part 1: "Healing the wounds of war, restoring and developing production", introducing documents and images about the situation in Ha Nam after the Geneva Agreement, with efforts to restore the economy, stabilize social life, and prepare forces for a long-term resistance. Part 2: "Production, fighting to protect the solid rear", displaying documents about patriotic emulation movements, the close coordination between production and national defense, and typical examples in fighting and working. Part 3: "Supporting human and material resources to the great southern front", introducing documents, images, and artifacts reflecting the spirit of solidarity, sparing no human and material resources of the Party Committee and people of Ha Nam in supporting the southern battlefield.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Xuan Duong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, said that Ha Nam - a land rich in cultural, patriotic and revolutionary traditions - has left strong imprints in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Those indelible imprints have been distilled and preserved through each page of documents, each photo, each memory line and today, they have been selected, restored and introduced to the public by the Ha Nam Provincial Historical Archives Center in a vivid and authentic way.
At the same time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Historical Archives Center to continue to promote its role as the "memory house" of the homeland - a place to preserve the heroic and sacred history of the nation. The Center needs to further promote propaganda work, introduce archival documents to the public, especially cadres, party members, students, and the next generations who are responsible for following in the footsteps of their ancestors, preserving and promoting the glorious revolutionary tradition of Ha Nam. Thereby, strongly spreading historical and cultural values, fostering love for the homeland and national pride among the people.
