Smart Box smart delivery cabinet opening

BAC NINH - On the afternoon of September 15, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with Viettel Post Joint Stock Company (Viettel Post) to inaugurate the Smart Box at the Bac Ninh Provincial Public Administration Service Center. Attending the event were Mr. Pham Van Thinh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and representatives of leaders of a number of departments and branches.

The main function of Smart Box is to receive and send goods flexibly 24/7, increase the security and safety of goods thanks to QR codes, reduce operating costs for businesses and improve customer experience when no longer depending on the working time of the shipper. This is the first smart delivery cabinet installed in Bac Ninh province.

In his opening speech, comrade Pham Van Thinh praised and highly appreciated the initiative of the Department of Industry and Trade, Viettel Post and related units in installing Smart Box smart delivery cabinets.

Comrade Pham Van Thinh also directed and assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with Viettel Post and related units to evaluate in detail the effectiveness of the testing phase. Review and propose plans to expand the installation of Smart Box in the province in the coming time. For Viettel Post, continue to improve the operating process, improve service quality, add convenient features, ensure safety and information security for users. Agencies, units, and localities actively propagate and guide cadres, employees and people to use Smart Box to maximize the effectiveness of the system.

Viettel Post leaders said that with the strategy of investing in smart and modern delivery infrastructure, Viettel Post has built a vision that by 2030, Smart Box infrastructure will reach more than 50,000 points nationwide, serving millions of orders every day. Smart Box infrastructure helps postal businesses improve labor productivity, reduce CO2 emissions, help people and businesses easily use the service anytime, anywhere, 24/7 delivery, contactless delivery, no need to answer the phone every time receiving goods.

In Bac Ninh province, in the coming time, the unit will continue to expand the network, diversify the forms of cooperation, gradually improve the quality of services and experiences. Viettel Post Bac Ninh is looking forward to the attention and facilitation of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, departments, branches, local authorities, and industrial parks in developing the premises for placing machines.
