Urgently prepare the Press Center to serve the 14th National Party Congress

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the morning of November 12, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission and the 14th National Party Congress Press Center held the first meeting of the Press Center. Mr. Lai Xuan Mon, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission and Director of the 14th National Party Congress Press Center chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, Mr. Tong Van Thanh, Head of the Press and Publishing Department, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, said that by November 10, 2025, 102 central and local press and radio agencies had registered to issue press work cards at the Congress for 559 reporters, editors, and technicians. Of which, Vietnam Television had 166 people, Vietnam News Agency had 81 people, Voice of Vietnam had 49 people, and Nhan Dan Newspaper had 20 people.

The Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department will evaluate and select qualified reporters, editors, and technicians according to regulations.

Regarding the invitation of foreign press to attend the 14th National Party Congress, the Central Propaganda and Education Commission has presided over and coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to plan the composition and number of invitations, plans to welcome, guide and manage foreign reporters to report on the 14th National Party Congress.

Regarding the work to be implemented in the coming time, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department will continue to proactively organize and operate the Press Center's activities to ensure the quality and progress set out. Gather and make a list of reporters and technicians working at the Congress, ensuring the requirements on political standards for reporters, editors and technicians. Coordinate with the Guard Command and relevant agencies to appraise the documents; print press badges, vehicle badges, event cards; handbooks for reporters to guide their work and issue and distribute them to reporters.

Along with that, prepare to organize press conferences before, during and after the Congress as planned; organize conferences to disseminate and train propaganda work on the 14th National Party Congress in December 2025. The training subjects are leaders of the Propaganda Department of Provincial Party Committees, City Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Central Committee, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations; leaders of Central and Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City press agencies; reporters and editors of press agencies participating in working at the Congress...

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Lai Xuan Mon, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Director of the 14th Party Congress Press Center, said that the first meeting of the Press Center took place in a serious and exciting atmosphere, with the full participation of leaders of ministries, departments, branches, members of the center and relevant agencies. The reports were carefully prepared, with rich contributions, demonstrating a high sense of responsibility. The contents and recommendations of the units will be received and synthesized by the Press and Publication Department to complete the implementation plan.

Mr. Lai Xuan Mon informed that it is expected that in more than 2 months, the 14th National Congress of the Party will take place. Meanwhile, the workload ahead is huge, requiring agencies and units to urgently deploy, review and complete assigned tasks.

"The Press Center's activities will be very vibrant before, during and after the Congress. Therefore, each agency and each member must closely follow the assigned functions, tasks and plans to implement them synchronously and effectively," Mr. Lai Xuan Mon emphasized.
