(To Quoc) - The Norwegian Spirit cruise ship, carrying 1,200 international tourists, docked at Cam Ranh port, Khanh Hoa province, on the morning of January 24th as part of its Vietnam tour .
At approximately 7:00 AM, the Norwegian Spirit cruise ship entered Cam Ranh International Port, carrying a group of 1,200 passengers of various nationalities.
After docking, tourists split into several groups, some choosing to explore Nha Trang. Many others took tours of Nui Chua National Park in Ninh Thuan province, visited the Wyndham Grand KN Paradise Cam Ranh resort, or enjoyed free time on shuttle buses for sightseeing and shopping. The ship is scheduled to depart at 3 PM that same day to continue its journey to Phu My port (Ba Ria - Vung Tau).

The Norwegian Spirit is a large, modern ship that regularly undertakes exploration voyages in many seas around the world . Built in 1998 and most recently refurbished in 2020, the ship is 268 meters long, 37 meters wide, and has a capacity of nearly 2,000 passengers and over 900 crew members.
This is the second cruise ship to arrive in Khanh Hoa in 2025. Three days earlier (January 21st), the Oceania Riviera cruise ship, carrying 1,200 international tourists, also docked at Cam Ranh port as part of its Vietnam tour. It is expected that by April this year, the province will welcome nine cruises with approximately 14,650 passengers.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism, this is a positive sign for the recovery and development of cruise tourism in Khanh Hoa, contributing to the success of the province's tourism industry.
In 2024, Khanh Hoa welcomed 28 international cruise ships with 57,816 tourists coming ashore for sightseeing. In the whole year, the locality welcomed more than 10.8 million overnight guests, including nearly 4.8 million international visitors. Tourism revenue was more than 53.1 trillion VND.
