Rewarding officers and soldiers participating in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation Day

(GLO)- On the evening of May 5, the Gia Lai Provincial Military Command held a meeting and commended 17 officers and soldiers who had excellently completed their tasks of participating in the parade at the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Colonel Le Thanh Tung - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command attended and delivered a congratulatory speech.

The delegation of officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command participating in the celebration included 17 comrades (16 men, 1 woman), strictly selected according to criteria of political background, moral qualities, health, appearance and sense of organization and discipline.

During the training, the soldiers upheld the spirit of responsibility, solidarity, discipline, promoted the traditions of the unit and heroic homeland, and together with the entire army, strived to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Le Thanh Tung praised the spirit of overcoming difficulties, actively training and excellently completing the tasks of the officers and soldiers. He emphasized that this is not only the pride of each individual but also the common honor of the provincial armed forces. The image of the soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army continues to leave a beautiful impression in the hearts of the people and international friends.

On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command presented flowers and certificates of merit to recognize the achievements of 17 officers and soldiers. Of these, 11 comrades (10 men, 1 woman) will continue to be selected to participate in the parade at the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2.
