About 1,000 people attended a conference on digital data in Binh Dinh.

On the afternoon of September 18, in Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh), the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Association for Information Technology and the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province jointly held a press conference to inform about the 24th Vietnam Information and Communications Technology Development Cooperation Conference.

At the press conference, Mr. Tran Kim Kha, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Binh Dinh province, informed that the theme of this year's conference is "Digital data and decision-making support platforms". The workshop closely follows important contents on digital transformation in 2023, especially this is the "National Data Year". In addition, delegates, experts and authorities will also focus on discussing and exchanging on the role and development orientation of information technology and digital transformation in the coming period. Thereby, proposing recommendations, solutions and specific action programs in the coming time.

As planned, the conference will take place from September 21 to 22, 2023, at the Binh Dinh Provincial Convention Center, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province and the Vietnam Information Technology Association. It is expected that the number of delegates attending the conference will be about 1,000 people, including leaders of the Government , the National Committee on Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Vietnam Information Technology Association and ministries, central and local agencies, enterprises...

In addition to reports and in-depth discussions, the conference will have specialized sessions on improving the effectiveness of building digital government; building digital society and developing digital economy and "Make in Vietnam" digital technology products and services to promote the development of Vietnam's tourism.

On this occasion, the parties will announce the Prime Minister's Decision on admitting the Information Technology and Communications Center of Binh Dinh province as a member of the Quang Trung Software Park Chain.

At the press conference, leaders of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province and the Department of Information and Communications of this province focused on providing full information on the preparation work and the plan of the workshop. In addition, the chairmen of the press conference also answered many questions and comments from reporters and journalists representing central and local press agencies operating in Binh Dinh.

Mr. Lam Hai Giang, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that this workshop will play an important role in shaping action programs and orientations for information technology development and digital transformation in the coming period of the country.
