On the afternoon of July 14, the People's Committee of Nghe An province launched the photo and video contest "Happy Nghe An - Happy Nghe An 2025".
The contest "Happy Nghe An - Happy Nghe An 2025" is chaired by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The contest aims to arouse love for the homeland, pride in the achievements of economic , cultural and social development, natural landscapes, especially the people of Nghe An - rich in affection, hard-working, creative, united and always aiming for happiness. This is also one of the activities to welcome the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An emphasized: “Through photos and short video clips, each citizen and each young person can become an inspirational ambassador, contributing to introducing a dynamic, modern Nghe An but still imbued with its identity, an Nghe An where everyone can live, study, work and contribute in a safe, friendly and happy environment. Each citizen, tourist, artist, photographer, reporter tells their happy story about Nghe An - through the lens of photos and videos to together preserve and spread beautiful, humane and emotional moments”.
Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched the contest.
Entries must be created between January 1, 2023 and October 1, 2025. Submissions will be accepted from July 15, 2025 to October 1, 2025.
The Organizing Committee will select the best works to award First, Second and Third prizes for the two categories of photos and videos, and about 100 works that make it to the Final Round will be selected to display in an exhibition to serve the communication work on human rights at home and abroad.
