There is no phenomenon of "cloning" electricity bills in Hung Viet commune.

After receiving information about two identical electricity bills for August 2025 of two households in Dong Phai area, Hung Viet commune, causing many mixed comments on social networks, the Northern Power Corporation directed units to conduct information verification.

Hung Viet Commune Police coordinated with the electricity industry to check the electricity meters of two households.

Talking to reporters of Phu Tho Newspaper and Radio and Television, comrade Hoang Thanh Binh, Head of the Cam Khe Regional Electricity Management Team, Phu Tho Electricity Company said: The Cam Khe Regional Electricity Management Team has coordinated with the People's Committee of Hung Viet Commune and the Hung Viet Commune Police to verify information related to two identical electricity bills being spread on social networks, causing many conflicting opinions.

The inspection and verification process showed that two households, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Manh and Mr. Nguyen Duc Doan, in August 2025 had the same electricity consumption of 230 kWh, resulting in the same payment amount of VND 572,011. However, the initial and final meter readings and serial numbers were completely different.

Thereby, it is confirmed that there is no copying or “cloning” of invoices as some information has spread. During the process of checking and verifying information, it was shown that the electricity usage history in the last 2 years of both households showed stable consumption, consistent with actual living conditions, with no signs of abnormality.

This is just a coincidence when two households have similar conditions of electricity usage. The electricity sector has directly explained clearly, and customers all agree. At the same time, Hung Viet Commune Police also coordinated with the Electricity sector to check and provide accurate information so that people can understand clearly and avoid public confusion.

Currently, Phu Tho Electricity Company is widely deploying an electronic meter system with the ability to collect data remotely, automatically recording indexes according to fixed days and hours. In Hung Viet commune, the installation of electronic meters for 100% of customers was completed in 2023.
