Food safety inspection during Mid-Autumn Festival

(HG O ) - The interdisciplinary inspection team on food safety during the 2024 Mid-Autumn Festival of the province has launched the first day of inspection of food production, trading and processing establishments in Vi Thanh city.

The interdisciplinary inspection team will carry out its mission until September 27 , inspecting all districts, towns and cities.

The delegation inspected the MT coffee production facility in Ward IV and the KN Hau Giang Trading Company Limited in Ward VII . Through the inspection, the two facilities basically provided sufficient documents according to production and business regulations. Particularly , the MT coffee production facility, the delegation suggested that it is necessary to overcome the limitation of toilets in the production area.

The delegation will continue to inspect food production and trading establishments in the remaining districts, towns and cities of the province until September 27. The delegation will focus on inspecting and supervising the compliance with legal regulations on food safety of food production and trading establishments . Focusing on and prioritizing establishments producing and trading confectionery, soft drinks, traditional foods produced in craft villages, small establishments; establishments providing food services, street food... serving during the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2024 to minimize poisoning due to the use of unsafe food.
