Kien Giang completes temporary housing elimination program

Kien Giang has just announced the completion of a program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

On April 25, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Tien Hai said that Kien Giang province has completed the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province according to the direction of the Central Government, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

After nearly 1 year of implementing the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province" in 2025 with a determined and urgent spirit, up to now, Kien Giang province has completed the construction and repair of 3,618 houses, with a total value of nearly 213 billion VND.

Kien Giang Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Tien Hai emphasized that this is a very meaningful gift, showing the care of the Party and State and the heart of the sectors, armed forces, and benefactors given to people with housing difficulties on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province awarded certificates of merit to 10 collectives with outstanding achievements contributing to the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Kien Giang province by 2025".
