Celebrating the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Gia Lai set off fireworks in Quy Nhon and Pleiku wards.

On the occasion of the August Revolution and National Day celebrations on September 2 this year, Gia Lai province will organize fireworks displays at two locations: Quy Nhon ward and Pleiku ward.

On August 21, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province said that on the occasion of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the province will set off fireworks to celebrate in Quy Nhon ward and Pleiku ward.

Accordingly, the fireworks display to celebrate major holidays has just been approved by the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee and assigned to relevant agencies to organize and implement.

In the first year of its incorporation, the new Gia Lai province will set off fireworks at two locations. Specifically, low-altitude fireworks will be set off at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Quy Nhon Ward; high-altitude fireworks will be set off at Dai Doan Ket Square, Pleiku Ward.

The fireworks display in Quy Nhon ward will take place at 9:30 p.m. on August 29, right after the opening ceremony of the festival "The Quintessence of the Great Forest - Convergence of the Blue Sea".

In Pleiku ward, the fireworks display will be held at 9:30 p.m. on September 2, right after a special art program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Gia Lai province assigned the Provincial Military Command to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Finance, People's Committees of Quy Nhon ward, Pleiku ward and related units to organize implementation according to regulations and ensure safety.

Low-altitude fireworks are fireworks with a diameter no larger than 90mm or a range no larger than 120m. High-altitude fireworks are fireworks with a diameter over 90mm or a range over 120m.
