Celebrating the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Gia Lai set off fireworks in Quy Nhon and Pleiku wards.

On the occasion of the August Revolution and National Day celebrations on September 2 this year, Gia Lai province will organize fireworks displays at two locations: Quy Nhon ward and Pleiku ward.

On August 21st, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province announced that fireworks displays will be held in Quy Nhon and Pleiku wards to celebrate the anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd.

Accordingly, the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee has approved the plan to organize fireworks displays to celebrate major holidays and has assigned relevant agencies to carry it out.

In its first year as a newly incorporated province, Gia Lai will hold fireworks displays at two locations. Specifically, a low-altitude fireworks display will be held at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square in Quy Nhon Ward, and a high-altitude fireworks display will be held at Dai Doan Ket Square in Pleiku Ward.

The fireworks display in Quy Nhon ward will take place at 9:30 PM on August 29th, right after the opening ceremony of the "Essence of the Great Forest - Convergence of the Blue Sea" festival.

Meanwhile, in Pleiku ward, the fireworks display will take place at 9:30 PM on September 2nd, immediately following the special art program celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Gia Lai province has assigned the Provincial Military Command to take the lead and coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Finance, the People's Committees of Quy Nhon and Pleiku wards, and other relevant units to organize and implement the project in accordance with regulations and ensure safety.

Low-altitude fireworks are those with a diameter no larger than 90mm or a range not exceeding 120m. High-altitude fireworks are those with a diameter greater than 90mm or a range exceeding 120m.
