Lai Chau continues to call for support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

As of May 14, 2025, Lai Chau has deployed 6,384/7,489 units, reaching 85.25%, of which 3,249 units have been completed; 3,135 units are under construction. The total funding requirement is 411.3 billion VND. The total mobilized funding is 392.35 billion VND. The total funding gap is: 18.68 billion VND, equivalent to 1,105 units.

According to statistics, up to now, 87,240 working days have been mobilized to build houses, of which the army, border guards, and police contributed 8,285 working days, mobilizing 6,426 officers and soldiers to participate.

Continuing to respond to the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by 2025", Lai Chau province is determined to: "Completely eliminate remaining temporary and dilapidated houses in the whole province; Support the construction of solid houses, ensuring safety for policy households, meritorious people, poor and near-poor households in the province".
