According to the registration list (from June), there are over 930 students from Dak Nong province (old) and over 360 students from Binh Thuan province (old) transferring to schools in wards in Da Lat to study. There are over 270 preschool students, over 500 primary school students, over 380 secondary school students and 135 high school students. The Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province has arranged for over 1,000 students from preschool to high school to study at 21 schools in the areas of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat and Cam Ly Ward - Da Lat.
However, the number of students transferring schools is fluctuating. Some parents who registered their children to transfer schools now withdraw, while others have just registered. Therefore, the Department of Education and Training and schools are trying to arrange a stable schedule for students to transfer schools before July 30.

Mr. Loi added that with 271 students not yet assigned to classes, the Department of Education and Training plans to open 7 more classes. Specifically, Chi Lang Secondary and High School has 3 classes (including 2 grade 7s and 1 grade 8); Quang Trung Secondary School has 2 grade 6s; Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School has 2 grade 8s. A survey by the education sector shows that there is a shortage of about 14 teachers as well as essential facilities and equipment to serve the teaching work for these 7 classes.
The Department of Education and Training has proposed that the Provincial People's Committee open more schools and recruit more teachers to meet the long-term learning needs of students transferring schools. In the immediate future, the Department of Education and Training is also updating the number of teachers from the two provinces of Binh Thuan and Dak Nong (old) who are working in Da Lat to arrange teaching at schools.
