Vietnam U.22 has a full squad.
On the afternoon of March 11th, the Vietnam U22 team held their second training session at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center. The team had a full squad for this session, including the participation of Vietnamese-Czech midfielder Andrej Nguyen An Khanh, who had just returned from the Czech Republic.
An Khánh and Viktor Lê are two Vietnamese-born players who participated in the March training camp, in preparation for a training and friendly match trip to China.

The team's training atmosphere was very lively, with the players showing great focus. The entire team began performing tactical exercises as required by the coaching staff. The new recruits, including An Khánh and Viktor Lê, quickly integrated with their teammates, creating a good connection in their overall playing style.
Speaking to the press before training, acting head coach Dinh Hong Vinh gave positive assessments of his players.
He also gave his initial assessment of newcomer Viktor Lê: "I know he regularly plays and starts for Hà Tĩnh Club in the V-League. He meets the selection criteria. Of course, in order for Viktor Lê to quickly integrate into the overall playing style of the Vietnam U22 team, the coaching staff will continue to train and support him further."

In addition, acting head coach Dinh Hong Vinh also shared the future direction of the Vietnam U.22 team.
"Following the training camp in September 2024, the Vietnam U22 team aims to complete its tasks in 2025, especially focusing on the 2026 U23 Asian Championship qualifiers and the 33rd SEA Games. The whole team is striving for the best possible cohesion, creating a strong collective," Mr. Vinh shared.

Mr. Dinh Hong Vinh also emphasized the importance of a unified philosophy between the national team and the U.22 Vietnam team.
He said: "I have been working with coach Kim Sang Sik recently. We focus on maintaining a consistent philosophy from the senior national team down to the U22 Vietnam team. The training plans and exercises have been agreed upon by the coaching staff, ensuring consistency between the two teams."
During this training camp, the Vietnam U22 team will continue to focus on improving the quality of its players and helping them integrate into the team's overall philosophy.
The team will participate in a friendly tournament in China from March 20 to 25, alongside U.22 teams from Vietnam, South Korea, Uzbekistan, and host nation China.
