Over the past few days, thousands of people have come to Ba Vang Pagoda to pay homage to the Buddha's hair relics. Many people were moved to tears, and many others prayed and begged. There were also many who objected, saying that the moving hair relics were unscientific and unconvincing.
Why are so many people flocking to worship the Buddha's hair relic? Partly because Ba Vang Pagoda informed that "After more than 2,600 years, the hair is still intact. Tens of thousands of people and Buddhists have witnessed with their own eyes the hair spinning continuously in many different shapes, even though there is nothing around to stretch or control it, completely different from the hair of a normal person."
Religious beliefs and faiths are always respected, but religious beliefs are different from distortions that lead to delusion. Therefore, the Government Committee for Religious Affairs requests the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha to direct the International Buddhist Committee and the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Ninh province to rectify activities that are not in accordance with Buddhist traditions and to strictly handle according to Buddhist precepts, the Charter and Regulations of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha if any organizations, individuals or Buddhist dignitaries involved in the incident have committed violations.
But at the time the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Ninh province was working, according to the report, Venerable Thich Truc Thai Minh - abbot of Ba Vang Pagoda - had gone abroad, possibly to Laos. The Buddha's hair relics are also not currently at Ba Vang Pagoda.
Venerable Thich Dao Hien - Member of the Executive Council, Head and Chief Secretary of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Ninh province informed: "The temple representative told us that the relics were escorted onto a plane to return to the homeland."
Can the object believed to be the Buddha's hair relic return to its homeland be clarified?
To verify who brought the Buddha's hair relics back to the country, which flight, what time, what day, from which temple in Myanmar is too easy.
Dear Sir, if it is a real Buddha hair relic, it is a "national treasure" of Myanmar. Wanting to "invite" it out of this country is not a simple matter at all. So, what is the procedure between Ba Vang Pagoda and Parami Pagoda - Parami International Buddha Relic Museum (Myanmar)?
Who escorted the object believed to be Buddha's hair relic onto the plane back to the homeland, which flight, and how did Myanmar handle the procedures?
Please note, if it is a real Buddha hair relic, the "return to the homeland" ceremony must be a solemn and sacred ceremony. This is also easy to verify.
