Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Minh Huong informed about the activities that will take place on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Union's founding.

On this occasion, a series of events will take place in the National Finals of the Competition "Women in Creative Startups and Green Transformation" in 2024, scheduled to be held from October 10-12, 2024 in Hanoi. This is an opportunity to honor, evaluate and rank the winning Startup Projects and spread the entrepreneurial spirit widely throughout the country; helping more women start creative businesses, join hands to develop the country's socio -economy in the direction of green production, clean production, environmental protection and climate change response.

Notably, on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union, the first Nguyen Thi Dinh Award Ceremony will take place and 100 outstanding district-level Women's Union Chairmen nationwide will be honored. The first Nguyen Thi Dinh Award Ceremony in 2024 will take place on October 8 in Hanoi , to honor, commend, and reward full-time Union officials, and encourage women to continue to contribute to the movement and work of the Union.

"This is an award dedicated to an exceptionally outstanding and outstanding full-time Union official named after Nguyen Thi Dinh - the first female general of the Vietnam People's Army, former Vice President of the State Council of Vietnam, Vice President of the International Federation of Democratic Women. According to the Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union, on this occasion, the Union is expected to award prizes for the Songwriting Contest praising Vietnamese Women/Mothers, scheduled for the evening of October 7. The Organizing Committee is expected to award prizes for 2 categories: Vietnamese Women/Mothers; and Godmother category.

On this occasion, the Asia-Pacific Women Scientists and Engineers Network 2024 (INWES-APNN 2024) Conference was also held by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union in coordination with the Vietnam Women's Intellectuals Association on October 4-5, 2024 at the Innovation Center (NIC) - Hoa Lac High-Tech Park, Hanoi.
