The exterior of the new carriage is designed with the main red color of the Red Flamboyant Flower, the symbol of Hai Phong city. The interior of the carriage is designed in a modern style, with a luxurious interior space, in harmony with the diverse architectural and cultural history of the Port city.

For the first time, Vietnam Railways has put into operation a 34-seat VIP carriage with an interior designed in the Indochinese style, combining modern lines and traditional Asian colors towards elegance and nobility. The carriage is equipped with natural wooden floors, a wifi system and a bar serving free drinks. This can be a new and interesting mobile check-in location and also a place for musical performances on the carriage.

The interior details are also carefully selected to bring a sense of comfort throughout your journey. In addition, the new carriages are also equipped with semi-automatic doors, an electric board that automatically displays the train's location and speed; a spacious hand-washing area, a modern and clean toilet, a plastic carpet floor, and a luxurious stone-patterned plastic wall paneling.

To meet the diverse needs of passengers, in addition to the 34-seat VIP cars and 56-seat swivel cars, the train also has 64-seat economy cars, along with a flexible fare policy.
