One of the highlights of this series of events is the launch of the "Storytelling Artifacts" gallery in the Relic Site.

With the theme “Uncle Ho with the South - The South with Uncle Ho,” the exhibition introduces 45 original documents and artifacts, carefully selected from the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, the National History Museum, the family of General Vo Nguyen Giap, the Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum and many other valuable sources.
The exhibits at the exhibition bring viewers back to the heroic historical years, with President Ho Chi Minh's deep affection for the South, as well as the loyal and steadfast feelings of the South that misses him.
The exhibition includes documents and artifacts expressing President Ho Chi Minh's nostalgia and endless concern for the South and his desire to liberate the South and unify the country. That is the draft of "President Ho Chi Minh's Letter to the soldiers and people of the South and the South Central region," dated December 4, 1945.
In the letter, President Ho Chi Minh firmly believed that with a nation with such a united people, our country would definitely not be lost again.
That is the photo of Nguyen Sinh Sac's tomb in Cao Lanh, Dong Thap , which Uncle Ho arranged in an inlaid box, placed on the highest bookshelf in his working room in his stilt house.
The South always ached in his heart, not only because his fellow Southerners were still separated there, but also because his father, Mr. Pho Bang Nguyen Sinh Sac, was still there waiting for him to visit. Unfortunately, his wish could not be fulfilled.
It is also the wool blanket that President Ho Chi Minh gave to Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, a revolutionary veteran, from Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh City, on the occasion of his 70th birthday at the Presidential Palace Office in 1963; the bag of Tam's mother in My Chanh, Binh Dinh, respectfully presented to President Ho Chi Minh; the red flag with a yellow star, a gift from the "Association of Soldiers' Mothers" in Binh Tot hamlet, Binh Phu commune, Hong Dan district, Bac Lieu province, embroidered to present to President Ho Chi Minh on June 1, 1958...

In particular, the exhibition also introduces to the public the draft letter President Ho Chi Minh sent to comrade Le Duan, talking about the arrangements for him to visit the soldiers and people of the South.
The letter President Ho Chi Minh wrote on March 10, 1968 to General Secretary Le Duan, with the words "absolutely confidential" written in red ink in the margin, just 18 months before his death.
In the letter, President Ho Chi Minh affectionately called him "dear Uncle Duẩn" and repeated Mr. Duẩn's advice on Christmas 1967 about visiting the South after the day of complete victory.
He agreed, but wanted to change the timing from "after" to "before," meaning to visit when the officers and soldiers were preparing for a new attack.
In the letter, President Ho Chi Minh carefully marked the plan of how to go, time of arrival, place of stay, and schedule of visit in red ink. He planned to arrange himself to "work on a ship," traveling with "Uncle Bao and Ky."
The brothers in the South will pick up the ship when it docks and take it to the homes of some Southern cadres. The trip is expected to take about 10 days of preparation, 6 days of crossing the sea and 5 days of visiting the locations, lasting up to a month...
President Ho Chi Minh told Mr. Le Duan in a letter that to ensure confidentiality, this matter should only be discussed with a few people in the Politburo.
The representative of the leader of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace said that the thematic exhibition is a particularly meaningful activity, realistically and touchingly depicting the sacred and profound feelings between President Ho Chi Minh and his compatriots and soldiers in the South. This is not simply a space to display historical documents and artifacts, but also a journey of profound emotions, helping viewers understand and be more proud of the sacred relationship between Uncle Ho and the South, thereby strongly arousing the spirit of national solidarity, the will to be self-reliant, and the determination to build and protect the country to become increasingly rich and civilized, as President Ho Chi Minh always wished.
