To proactively respond, the Lang Son Provincial Military Command has issued an urgent dispatch requesting units to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement instructions on storm prevention and overcoming consequences; regularly monitor storm forecasts, grasp developments and strengthen inspection and review of areas at risk of insecurity.

Units in the entire force step up propaganda and popularization of the 112 switchboard system to receive information about incidents and natural disasters to officers, soldiers and people in the management area.
Storm Ragasa is forecast to be very strong, maintaining super typhoon level when operating in the East Sea and can make landfall directly on the mainland of coastal provinces from Quang Ninh to Ha Tinh .
Although Lang Son is not a coastal province, according to forecasts, the province is also located in the storm's circulation area; directly impacted, causing strong gusts of wind, very heavy rain, potential risk of flash floods, localized flooding and landslides.
As the Standing Agency of the Provincial Civil Defense Steering Committee, the Lang Son Provincial Military Command always maintains a state of combat readiness and proactively responds to any unusual weather developments.

With the motto "4 on-site", units under the Lang Son Provincial Military Command closely coordinate with local authorities to deploy prevention measures.
More than 2,000 officers and soldiers from the regular army and militia forces in the whole Lang Son province have been mobilized, along with 20 motorboats, rubber boats, 2,500 specialized life-saving tools and equipment such as rescue vehicles, generators, buoys, life jackets... ready to participate in the rescue. The highest goal is to absolutely protect the lives and property of the people, not to be passive or surprised in any situation.
The evacuation of people and property is also a top priority. The Regional Defense Command has established working groups to directly go to areas at high risk of landslides to mobilize people to evacuate. Militia and local officials have also been mobilized to participate.

In addition, officers, soldiers and militia from communes across the province have participated in supporting and repairing more than 3,000 people's houses.
At the same time, specialized working teams checked and reinforced many irrigation works and important roads, ensuring traffic is always smooth when the storm makes landfall.

Logistically, the reserves have prepared more than 500kg of dry food, 5 tons of rice, drinking water and other necessities ready to provide relief to areas that may be isolated.
According to the forecast of Lang Son Province Hydrometeorological Station, due to the influence of storm Ragasa, from the night of September 24 to the end of the night of September 26, Lang Son province will have heavy rain, some places will have very heavy rain with thunderstorms and strong gusts of wind.
