Simultaneously, the Lai Chau Forest Protection and Development Fund continues to urge and guide the People's Committees of communes and wards and the Protective Forest Management Boards to implement tasks related to payment for forest environmental services, ensuring compliance with regulations when implementing the two-tiered local government system.
Advise the Fund Management Council to submit to the Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee for issuance Decision No. 2651/QD-UBND dated October 20, 2025, on approving the watershed boundaries and forest area within the watershed of forest environmental service facilities in Lai Chau province that are expected to start operating and collect forest environmental service fees in 2026;

From 2021 to the present, nine enterprises in Lai Chau province have received investment approval from the Provincial People's Committee for 11 production forest planting projects, which are currently being implemented. The total area of forest planting for these 11 approved projects is 9,574 hectares. These projects involve planting several tree species such as macadamia, pine, mahogany, cinnamon, ebony, and bodhi.
