Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Thai Nguyen province in coordination with the University of Agriculture and Forestry (Thai Nguyen University) organized a Conference to announce and award the Certificate of trademark "Green tea pork - Essence of Thai Nguyen" of the Department of Intellectual Property ( Ministry of Science and Technology ).

According to Professor Dr. Nguyen Hung Quang, Rector of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, being granted the trademark "Green Tea Pork - The Quintessence of Thai Nguyen" not only creates a commercial advantage but also opens up a new direction for the province's agriculture , differentiating local products and helping to increase their value and competitiveness in the market.
“This is an important driving force for the formation of closed-loop production chains with transparent traceability, encouraging farmers and businesses to shift to a safe and sustainable agricultural model. The brand contributes to promoting the image of agricultural products, attracting investment, and creating a foundation for Thai Nguyen province to develop distinctive products with strong brands in the future,” emphasized Professor Dr. Nguyen Hung Quang.
Professor Nguyen Hung Quang added that the University of Agriculture and Forestry will continue to play a core role in researching, perfecting technical processes, and collaborating with localities to develop "Green Tea Pork - The Quintessence of Thai Nguyen" into a strong branded specialty of the "land of the finest tea".
“We will continuously improve our production processes, making them more suitable to practical needs and enhancing product value. We will work alongside businesses and cooperatives throughout the production process, thereby creating reputable branded products and ensuring sustainable development,” the Rector of the University of Agriculture and Forestry pledged.
Ms. Dinh Thi Hong Chiem, Head of the Department of Livestock, Veterinary and Fisheries of Thai Nguyen, shared that the announcement of the brand "Thai Nguyen Green Tea Premium Pork" is an important milestone in the journey of building a distinctive agricultural brand, deeply rooted in the province's identity and associated with Thai Nguyen's unique advantages.
At the same time, it opens up great opportunities to connect production, processing, and consumption, elevating the province's livestock products in the domestic market and aiming for export. This is also an important step in the strategy of developing green agriculture, a green economy, and building a sustainable value chain that the locality is striving to implement.

Thai Nguyen accompanies businesses, cooperatives, and farmers to develop specialty products
Mr. Duong Van Hoan, Deputy Director of the Thai Nguyen Department of Industry and Trade, affirmed that in the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade will continue to accompany and support businesses, cooperatives, and business households to develop sustainably, expand markets, and assert their position for products, including the "Green Tea Pork - The Quintessence of Thai Nguyen" brand.
The successful construction and protection of the brand "Green Tea Pork - The Essence of Thai Nguyen" will create strong momentum for this product to soon become one of the typical products, spreading the distinct value of Thai Nguyen agriculture to a large number of consumers.

The Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant departments and branches to research and propose policies to accompany and expand livestock farming scale in cooperatives, enterprises, and households; the University of Agriculture and Forestry researched to incorporate the process into practical teaching programs.
The cooperatives are implementing a model of organizing booths to display and promote products processed from green tea pork to introduce at the "Thai Nguyen - Fragrance and beauty of tea" Festival to be held by the province in December.

To build the brand "Thai Nguyen Essence Green Tea Pork", Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry has implemented a fairly methodical process.
In parallel, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry has drafted and issued regulations on trademark management, clearly defining the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of organizations and individuals granted trademark usage rights, the process of granting and revoking trademark usage rights, and the responsibilities for inspection, supervision, and handling of violations in trademark use to ensure that trademarks are strictly managed, used correctly, and create sustainable value.
