On the morning of April 28, the People's Committee of Tinh Ky commune held a ceremony to receive the Provincial Historical Relic Ranking Certificate for An Vinh - Tinh Ky mausoleum. Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ngai City Party Committee Ngo Van Trong attended the ceremony. Representatives of relevant departments and branches also attended the ceremony.
An Vinh - Tinh Ky mausoleum was built about 300 years ago, in the 18th century. This is a religious architectural work built by fishermen to worship the God of the South Sea (whale), the god of fortune for fishermen when they encounter trouble.
The relic is associated with the place where the community lives - An Vinh village, Tinh Ky commune; it is the place where the migration and land reclamation of An Vinh villagers on Ly Son island originated, so the relic is called An Vinh - Tinh Ky tomb.

Despite the impact of time and war, the relic has been actively preserved by generations of local fishermen. The original elements of the ancient architectural work are still intact, such as: stone walls, whale skeleton, wooden oars, wooden statues in the shape of dragons and phoenixes. These unique features have contributed to creating distinct characteristics compared to some other Ong tombs in the province.

The An Vinh - Tinh Ky mausoleum relic also converges the intangible cultural heritage values typical of the coastal community of Quang Ngai in general and Tinh Ky commune in particular in preserving the Nam Hai god worshiping ceremony (12th day of the third lunar month), boat racing festival (4th day of Lunar New Year), and fish praying ceremony (6th day of Lunar New Year). It is the gathering and meeting during the worshiping ceremonies and festivals that have connected the village spirit, solidarity, and mutual support of fishermen and seafarers inside and outside the locality.
