Leaders of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited and presented gifts on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin

On January 25, Comrade Tran Thi Hong Thanh, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited and presented Tet gifts to the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin; poor households and people in difficult circumstances in Yen Khanh and Gia Vien districts.

Also attending were leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Yen Khanh and Gia Vien districts.

At the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Ninh Binh province, comrade Tran Thi Hong Thanh, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province, presented gifts and wished the Association's officials and members a peaceful and happy new year, and sent greetings, encouragement and New Year greetings to the families of Agent Orange victims in Ninh Binh province.

Acknowledging the efforts and achievements of the Association in recent years, he also hoped that the Association at all levels would overcome difficulties, continue to care for Agent Orange victims, help them have more motivation to overcome difficulties, rise up in life, and celebrate a warm and happy traditional New Year.

On the same day, the Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation presented 40 gifts worth more than 40 million VND to poor households and households in difficult circumstances in Khanh Van commune (Yen Khanh) and Gia Phu commune (Gia Vien).

He affirmed that the Party and State always pay attention to poverty reduction work, all levels and sectors always accompany, support and help poor households, near-poor households, and families in especially difficult circumstances, especially during Tet and Spring.

The Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation also requested that Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and organizations in the local political system continue to pay attention to, care for and support poor, near-poor and families in especially difficult circumstances to improve their lives.

On the occasion of the traditional New Year of the nation, he sent New Year greetings to families, hoping that they would have a happy and warm New Year; continue to strive to overcome difficulties, compete in labor production, and stabilize their lives.
