Provincial leaders offer incense and flowers to commemorate General Secretary Le Duan

On the occasion of the 117th anniversary of the birth of the late General Secretary Le Duan on April 7 (1907 - 2024), this morning, April 7, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province solemnly held an incense offering and flower offering ceremony to commemorate General Secretary Le Duan at the General Secretary Le Duan Memorial Site (Trieu Phong District) and Le Duan Park (Dong Ha City). Respectfully offering incense and flowers at the General Secretary Le Duan Memorial Site and Le Duan Park, provincial leaders and delegates expressed their infinite gratitude and reviewed the life, background and glorious revolutionary career of General Secretary Le Duan for the cause of national liberation and national construction.

General Secretary Le Duan was a staunch communist soldier, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh; an outstanding leader of the Vietnamese revolution; an excellent son of the heroic homeland of Quang Tri, who devoted his whole life to the cause of national liberation, national reunification, and the freedom and happiness of the people.

For his homeland Quang Tri, General Secretary Le Duan always had a deep love and affection; always encouraged and reminded the Party Committee and the People to promote the heroic tradition, diligence, creativity, collective strength, and make efforts to build the province to develop more and more.

At the same time, educate the heroic revolutionary tradition for today's and tomorrow's young generations to remember the great contributions of General Secretary Le Duan in the cause of fighting for national liberation, unification and building an increasingly prosperous and peaceful country.
