The recent floods and rains have caused severe damage to people in many localities in Tay Ninh province, including Tan Thanh commune. In particular, the heavy rain on the evening of October 28 caused severe damage to many areas of rice and fruit trees in the commune.

That is the household of Mr. Nguyen Van Tam residing in Hamlet 4, Tan Thanh Commune. The heavy rain completely flooded his family's orchard, causing damage to 2.2 hectares, including 2,000 custard apple trees that were 8 years old and 1,000 red-fleshed jackfruit trees that were 15 months old. The total damage was about 70 million VND.
