Lao Cai has 1 doctor recognized as Promising Young Vietnamese Physician

Doctor Vang Seo Sao, working at the General Planning Department, Bac Ha District General Hospital, was honored to be recognized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association as one of the 10 "Promising Young Vietnamese Physicians". This is a noble award for individuals with outstanding achievements, especially in digital transformation of healthcare and pioneering in science, technology and innovation in the period of 2023 - 2024.

Doctor Vang Seo Sao, born in 1992, is a young doctor with many achievements in volunteer activities for community health. He has participated in many groups to examine, provide health consultation and distribute medicine to poor and disadvantaged people in Bac Ha district.

With a pioneering spirit, in September 2024, Dr. Vang Seo Sao coordinated with functional forces to directly provide first aid to seriously ill patients in Nam Tong village, Nam Luc commune, Bac Ha district during a landslide caused by storm No. 3. After that, he joined medical examination and treatment teams and provided free medicine in Coc Ly and Nam Khanh communes after storm No. 3 for more than 350 people affected by natural disasters.

During his work, Dr. Vang Seo Sao has repeatedly called for and connected volunteers to participate in emergency blood donations, contributing to saving the lives of many emergency cases of severe anemia in the hospital.

Doctor Sao is a typical example of the spirit of initiative, dedication, and wholeheartedness in working for the health of people in the highlands.
