Currently, in the men's category of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, the top three spots have been secured by Ho Chi Minh City Police, Border Guard, and The Cong Tan Cang. The final spot will be a competition between LPBank Ninh Binh, Da Nang, and the reigning runner-up, Sanest Khanh Hoa.
On October 9-10, Sanest Khánh Hòa will face Đà Nẵng directly. This is their final match in the round-robin stage, and therefore their last chance to break into the top 4 and compete for the championship. Otherwise, they will fall into the relegation battle.
But even the winning team isn't guaranteed a spot. They'll still have to wait for the results of LPBank Ninh Binh's match on October 10th. In any case, for now, Da Nang and Sanest Khanh Hoa must focus all their efforts on this crucial match, which will take place at 2:30 PM.
The remaining three matches on October 9-10 are not very significant. The men's match between The Cong Tan Cang and Hanoi at 8 PM is merely a formality. The capital city team is already guaranteed to finish last in the round-robin stage, while The Cong Tan Cang is in the championship race.
In the women's competition, the four champion teams and four teams that will avoid relegation have already been determined. Therefore, the matches between VietinBank - XMLS Thanh Hoa (12:00 PM) and Geleximco Hung Yen - Northeast Information Corps (5:30 PM) are merely formalities.
