The organizers of the 33rd SEA Games have announced the schedule for the women's volleyball semi-finals. Accordingly, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team (first in Group B) will face the Philippines (second in Group A) in the first semi-final match at 12:30 PM. Meanwhile, host nation Thailand has been given a more convenient time slot of 3:00 PM, playing against the Philippines.

In the group stage, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates won all their matches with a 3-0 score against Myanmar, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
