Sacred flag-raising ceremony at special milestones of the Fatherland on Reunification Day

Joining in the atmosphere of celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, this morning, at many special milestones of the Fatherland, sacred flag-saluting ceremonies took place.

Since the national flag was already raised on April 29th, this year there will only be a flag-raising ceremony, instead of the traditional flag-raising ceremony.

The flag-raising ceremony was conducted solemnly, in a sacred and respectful atmosphere.

At the same time, tens of thousands of people in Ho Chi Minh City also performed the sacred flag-raising ceremony.

On the summit of Fansipan, the "roof of Indochina," a solemn flag-raising ceremony took place at precisely 10:00 AM on April 30th at the tallest flagpole in Vietnam.

The flag-raising and flag-saluting ceremony takes place at an altitude of over 3,000 meters above sea level.
