Revealed the quarter-final matches of the final round of the Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament

The final round of the group stage of the 2025 Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament has determined the 8 teams that will advance to the quarterfinals.

Before the final round, Group B was the only group that had not had any team advance yet. Therefore, all four teams played with determination on the morning of November 1.

Sawaco continued to face difficulties in the context of the main striker Nguyen Van Cap being absent due to injury. They dominated the match against Bac Ninh 1 Union, but could not take advantage of many dangerous situations to score.

It was thanks to Nguyen Anh Quy's late goal in extra time that Sawaco narrowly won 2-1.

In the remaining match, Quang Ngai Trade Union won 4-0 against Dong Nai 3 Trade Union. With these results, Sawaco led Quang Ngai Trade Union to continue in group B.

In Group D, the Banking Union was already assured of first place in the group so they did not field their strongest lineup. However, they still managed to draw 2-2 against the Da Nang Union despite being 2 goals behind.

Meanwhile, An Giang Trade Union beat Hanoi Trade Union 4-1 to win the last ticket of this group to the quarter-finals.

Thus, the 8 teams that have won tickets to continue have been determined, including Dong Nai Trade Union 1, Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union 2 (Group A), Quang Ngai Trade Union, Sawaco (Group B), Sacombank, Hai Phong Trade Union (Group C) and Vietnam Bank Trade Union, An Giang Trade Union (Group D).

The quarter-final matches will be: Dong Nai 1 Trade Union - Sawaco, Quang Ngai Trade Union - Ho Chi Minh City 2 Trade Union, Sacombank - An Giang Trade Union and Vietnam Bank Trade Union - Hai Phong Trade Union. The matches will start at 2:30 p.m. on November 1.

The 2025 Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament is jointly organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and Vietnam Football Federation for the third consecutive year.

Entering the 2025 season, the tournament has affirmed its position as an annual, prestigious playground for workers, civil servants, and laborers across the country; contributing to promoting the movement of physical exercise and sports, improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers, civil servants, and laborers in particular and the whole society in general.

This year's tournament is honored to receive the support of Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company (THACO), Dong Luc Sports Group, HTP Pharmaceutical Investment Joint Stock Company, Hoa Sen Group Joint Stock Company, Sunshine Group, Saigon Water Corporation (SAWACO), Fashion Connection Joint Stock Company (Faslink), 108 Central Military Hospital, 175 Military Hospital and a number of enterprises.

The final round of the Vietnam Workers' and Civil Servants' Football Tournament 2025 took place from October 31 to November 2 in Ho Chi Minh City, with the participation of 16 teams that had successfully passed the qualifying round.
