"Every elderly person will have some illness. But not everyone can afford to go to the hospital, especially those who are in difficult circumstances or who are elderly. Thanks to free screening sessions like this, we have the opportunity to detect diseases early and know how to take care of ourselves. I hope there will be more programs like this so that the elderly can receive proper attention, live healthier, be more proactive and have less burden for their children and for society," said Uncle Keo.
As a young person who brought his parents for screening, Mr. Linh shared: " I feel that this program of Long Chau is very humane. Many elderly people were touched and appreciated when they received free health screening. Some people were tested for chronic kidney disease, blood sugar, blood pressure, etc. for the first time, some people learned about their illness thanks to this screening. Programs like this not only help the elderly detect diseases early, but also give them the feeling of being listened to and cared for.
