Divorce because wife fell in love

I had a beautiful love with my wife for nearly 10 years before getting married. But after only 6 months of marriage, it was my wife who proposed to break up because she fell in love with someone else.

My wife and I had a beautiful love since high school. We both went to Hanoi to study at university, just looking forward to the weekends so we could ride our old bicycles around West Lake together.

Three years after graduating, we got married after nearly a decade of dating. Both my wife and I had stable jobs and good incomes to take care of our lives. I thought that with such a beautiful love that had overcome so many difficulties together and my sincere feelings for her, it would be difficult for a third person to interfere in our lives.

After only 6 months of marriage, I heard rumors that my wife had a lover at work. At first, I didn't believe it and didn't pay attention because I thought it was just a malicious rumor, but in the end, my wife was the one who told me about it. She said they hadn't gone too far because they still respected me, but she had fallen in love with a man at work who had just returned from studying abroad. He was 3 years younger than my wife. She said that the relationship had ended and she no longer had feelings for me.

I was shocked to hear those words from my wife. I advised her to reconsider because it might be a fleeting love affair, not considering it will make her suffer for the rest of her life. My wife agreed but after 2 months she still kept her opinion. I had no choice but to sign the divorce papers.

After breaking up with my wife, I still can't get used to life without her because we've been together for more than 10 years. I miss her so much, the more I try to forget her, the more I can't concentrate on doing anything. I never thought my life would have such a painful turn.
