Enjoy the international martial arts night in Binh Dinh

On the evening of September 2, thousands of locals and tourists excitedly cheered and watched the performance night of 'International Martial Arts Essence' in Quy Nhon City with attractive competitions and unique martial arts performances.

The performance night "Quintessence of international martial arts" is part of the program "Tourism, cinema and sports - Pride of Vietnamese identity" in 2024, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province to promote the image, people, and traditional martial arts of Binh Dinh to domestic and foreign friends.

Here, thousands of spectators enjoyed artistic performances of traditional Vietnamese martial arts, Tay Son - Binh Dinh martial arts and some Khmer martial arts, wushu, pencak silat, muay Thai, kickboxing and exciting matches on the ring.

When the Tay Son drums sounded, the Binh Dinh martial artists began to perform a series of traditional Binh Dinh martial arts, making the atmosphere lively. Around the stage, thousands of spectators continuously applauded the martial arts performances. Also tonight, the Quy Nhon audience directly watched for the first time the martial artist known as the "undefeated" Vietnamese Muay Thai fighter Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat perform impressively with two other martial artists.

The highlight of tonight's program is the exciting matches between male and female Muay Thai, kickboxing and traditional Vietnamese martial arts fighters, with the participation of domestic and international fighters.

Witnessed and cheered enthusiastically by Quy Nhon audiences, the boxers gave extremely exciting and spectacular matches.

Mr. Tran Van Vinh (in Quy Nhon) said: "Tonight we are very happy because the martial artists performed and competed with all their might. The matches were very good, each martial art has beautiful moves. Especially Binh Dinh traditional martial arts. It is very suitable for the physical condition of us Vietnamese people."

Meanwhile, many young people also continuously cheered and encouraged the boxers from Italy and South Africa when they saw them step onto the field. Many people assessed that these boxers were tall and big, posing a huge challenge to the boxers from Binh Dinh.

Tran Viet Nhan (in Quy Nhon) shared: "They have a huge advantage in height and long arm span compared to the Binh Dinh boxers. They compete very openly, watching here is more enjoyable than watching on TV. Tonight is really interesting, everyone is excited."
