(GLO)- On the occasion of the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023), the 82nd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team, on May 18, the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department coordinated with the Department of Education and Training of Mang Yang district to organize the contest "We tell stories about Uncle Ho" in 2023.

There were 26 performances in the contest, including 16 performances from primary school and 10 performances from secondary school. At the contest, the contestants told stories about Uncle Ho in the form of dramatization. With love and gratitude for beloved Uncle Ho, the contestants sent to the contest many good and attractive stories, which were well prepared from content, setting, costumes to supporting parts.
Through each competition, the contestants not only brought to the contest meaningful stories about Uncle Ho, but also drew great lessons for themselves from his example and morality.
At the end of the contest, at the primary level, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to contestant Hoang Ngoc Thuy Chi - Kon Dong Town Primary School No. 1, the second prize to contestant Nguyen Ngoc Doan Trang - Dak Ya Primary and Secondary School, the third prize to contestant Nguyen Thanh Thao - Lo Pang Primary School and 3 consolation prizes to contestants Vi Thi Yen Nhi (Dak Jo Ta Primary and Secondary School), Pham Vo Nhu Quynh (Dak Ta Ley Primary and Secondary School), Phan Ha Nhu (Ayun Primary School No. 2).
At the secondary school level, the Organizing Committee awarded first prize to contestant Tran Thi Ngoc Han (Chu Van An Secondary School), second prize to contestant Hoang Thi Tho (Mang Yang District Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities), third prize to contestant Dang Thanh Huyen (Le Quy Don Secondary School) and consolation prize to contestant Nguyen Thi Bich Thoai (Ayun Secondary School).
The contest “We tell stories of Uncle Ho” aims to educate young pioneers and children to effectively carry out the campaign “Vietnamese children compete to carry out Uncle Ho’s five teachings”. This is also an opportunity for children in Mang Yang district to exchange and strengthen solidarity and friendship with each other; create an environment for students to study and practice ethics and lifestyle, helping them strive to become good children, good students, good pioneers, and good children of Uncle Ho.
