The diving tour for tourists who already have a diving certificate (because scuba diving, also known as scuba diving, requires a certificate) is about 3.2 million VND. Le Ho Uy Di, a travel blogger from Ho Chi Minh City, chose the open water diving package for 13 million VND to get the certificate because she had only freedived before, never scuba dived. The course included online theory, one day of practice at the beach and two days of practice at the diving site. The trip was also a rare opportunity for her to admire the shipwreck in Con Dao. "According to recorded documents, on a rainy day, when the LCM-8 was on its way back from a military transport mission, it encountered a big storm. High waves and strong winds made the ship uncontrollable and it eventually sank to the bottom of the sea, where it still lies today, becoming an attractive wreck dive site for adventurous people to explore the ocean floor," Uy Di said.

Compared to many underwater sports, scuba diving requires higher techniques. Uy Di reminds tourists to absolutely not dive alone in any form, even if they have a diving certificate. Currently, there are many diving tours opened and sold to tourists who have never had diving experience or even do not know how to swim to take pictures. However, it should be noted that diving is an adventure sport and any mistake will greatly affect life.
