The Miss Charm homepage posted an announcement that MC Quynh Nga will represent Vietnam at this year's competition. This news surprised many and sparked mixed reactions.

Some comments on social media suggest that Quynh Nga's return to the competition is puzzling and that there are many other more deserving candidates. This information has sparked debate on beauty pageant forums because she previously withdrew from Miss Charm 2023.

Miss Charm was launched in 2019 but was postponed twice due to the Covid-19 pandemic. At that time, MC Quynh Nga was chosen to represent Vietnam. However, at the end of 2022, when the competition restarted, she decided to withdraw after much deliberation. Quynh Nga shared that, although regretful, she hoped the audience would support the new representative.

After Quynh Nga withdrew, MC Thanh Thanh Huyen was chosen to participate in Miss Charm 2023 and made it to the top 20. Quynh Nga took on the role of MC for the Miss Charm 2023 final night.

On February 24, 2023, Quynh Nga was introduced as the National Director at Miss Universe Vietnam, but as of January 18, 2024, she no longer held this position.

Quynh Nga, born in 1995, is 1.68m tall and was a top 10 finalist in Miss World Vietnam 2019, winning numerous titles in other beauty pageants. She currently works at the VTV24 News Center of Vietnam Television, covering cultural and international news. Quynh Nga is highly regarded for her beauty, communication skills, and English proficiency.

Miss Charm 2024 will take place in Vietnam from December 9-21. The reigning Miss Charm 2023 is Luma Russo from Brazil.
