At the training course, delegates, who are respected community leaders, were briefed by speakers from the Ethnic Affairs Committee of Ha Giang province and the Department of Justice of Ha Giang province on the Party's guidelines, State policies and laws; programs, projects, and policies related to ethnic minority and mountainous communities in the 2021-2025 period. Topics included promoting the role of respected community leaders and current policies regarding them among ethnic minority communities; Prime Minister's Decision No. 28/2023/QD-TTg amending and supplementing some articles of Prime Minister's Decision No. 12/2018/QD-TTg dated March 6, 2018, on criteria for selecting and recognizing respected community leaders and policies for them among ethnic minority communities; skills in disseminating legal education in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; and a general introduction to the National Target Program for ethnic minority and mountainous areas. Through training courses aimed at effectively implementing policies for influential individuals, the Party and State demonstrate their concern and encourage them to participate in activities to disseminate and mobilize the people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; and to promote the strength of national unity to eradicate poverty, develop socio-economic conditions, and ensure national defense and security.
This is the content of the implementation of Content No. 1, Sub-project 1 of Project 10 under Decision No. 1719 dated October 14, 2021 of the Prime Minister on approving the National Target Program for socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021 - 2030, Phase I from 2021 - 2025.
