On October 31st, the Da Lat City People's Committee successfully auctioned off the land plot of Thuy Ta restaurant, with a starting bid of over 3 billion VND per year. A bidder from Hanoi won the auction for the land plot with a bid of over 15.1 billion VND per year.
According to the regulations, the winning bidder must pay a lump sum for the 10-year lease term, totaling 151.5 billion VND.

According to the auction organizer selection notice, the land plot is designated for commercial and service use, specifically for restaurants and food establishments. The winning bidder must maintain the current state of the land and is not permitted to add any further structures.
The prime location of Thuy Ta restaurant is one of two islands (along with Bich Cau island) located within the Xuan Huong Lake national scenic area.
The total area of this floating island is 3,876m2, of which 383m2 is covered structures, 893m2 is flowerbeds, and 2,600m2 is grounds and open spaces.
