The first week of February, fourth quarter of the 23rd Road to Olympia contest took place on the afternoon of August 6, witnessing a fierce competition between 4 male students: Bui Duy Long ( FPT High School, Hanoi), Ngo Bao Anh Tuan (Tran Phu High School, Lam Dong), Duong Tuan Khoa (Ngo Quyen High School, Hai Phong) and Nguyen Van Hau (Long An High School for the Gifted, Long An).

In the Acceleration round, Van Hau took full advantage of the opportunity to increase his score to consolidate his leading position. After three rounds, Van Hau led with 160 points, Tuan Khoa with 110 points, Duy Long with 90 points, and Anh Tuan with 15 points.

However, Van Hau did not win points in all 3 questions. He also let Tuan Khoa score points in the English question. Van Hau finished with 140 points.

Tuan Khoa entered the exam with 130 points, choosing 3 questions worth 20 - 20 - 30 points. Duy Long scored on the first question, Tuan Khoa scored on the second question. He finished with 130 points.

Duy Long also chose 3 questions worth 20 - 20 - 30 points, but was unsuccessful. Tuan Khoa won the right to answer the question twice, but only scored points on the last question worth 30 points. Van Hau also managed to score points on the second question. Duy Long finished in the position with 50 points.

As the last contestant to take the test with 0 points, Anh Tuan chose 3 questions worth 20 - 30 - 30 points. This male student scored on the second question, but let Tuan Khoa score on the last question, creating a spectacular comeback.

Duong Tuan Khoa won the laurel wreath with 170 points.

In the final result, Duong Tuan Khoa (Ngo Quyen High School, Hai Phong City) successfully came from behind to win the laurel wreath with 170 points. Nguyen Van Hau (Long An High School for the Gifted, Long An Province) came in second with 150 points.

Also ranked 3rd, Bui Duy Long (FPT High School, Hanoi) 50 points and Ngo Bao Anh Tuan (Tran Phu High School, Lam Dong) 10 points.
