The long-awaited upgrade on iOS 19

Apple is planning to unveil iOS 19 at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June 2025, but the official release won't be until September, when the iPhone 17 series is announced.

iOS 19 operating system will have many changes in interface

Bloomberg sources said that the iOS 19 operating system will expand some features in the Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence toolkit to support more of Apple's applications.

One of the biggest changes could be a redesigned Camera app with controls and an interface similar to the visionOS platform. But the changes in iOS 19 could go even further.

New apps that Apple has introduced recently, such as Apple Sports, Apple Invites, and Apple Playground, also have a more modern interface, using transparency effects, animated buttons, and content-optimized design.

In addition, Apple is also developing a smarter version of Siri, using a large language model (LLM) to compete with AI chatbots like ChatGPT. The upgraded version of the virtual assistant Siri is being tested by the company as a standalone application with the internal name "LLM Siri".

The report says Apple is planning to introduce "LLM Siri" as part of the iOS 19 and macOS 16 operating system platforms in 2026. However, the tool will officially launch as early as this spring.
